The following breeders are members in good standing with the Great Dane Club of Canada. We have listed them by province for your convenience. Although the GDCC has no jurisdiction over whatever contract may exist between a breeder and puppy purchaser, we can verify that the individuals listed in the Breeders Directory meet the following criteria:
- Must be a member in good standing with the Great Dane Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club
- Must participate in meetings at least once per year (National or Divisional)
- Must submit the following health clearances for Great Danes currently being used for breeding:
3.1. Hips or Hips/Elbows (OFA or Penn Hip)
3.2. Heart (OFA) (Auscultation and Echocardiogram)
3.3. Eyes (OFA)
3.4. Thyroid (OFA) - Will always assume responsibility (physical or financial) for Great Danes of their breeding that are either unable to continue in their current home or have been surrendered to a Humane Society or Rescue Group
- Must have had no upheld complaints with either the Great Dane Club of Canada or the Canadian Kennel Club
